Some initial data – high altitude balloon temperature graph.

The Arduino worked perfectly and took 5755 temperature readings inside and outside the capsule.
The capsule was not air tight but still acted as a pretty good buffer for the internal air temperature.

  • These are really interesting data. Do you have any hypotheses why there was the rapid drop from ~+56 to -38, and then the rapid jump back to above 70? How do those temperature shifts relate to altitude? Were the two points below freezing at the same time as when the balloon was highest? So many interesting questions generated from such a graph. So cool that you got all these data.
